Super fun time, but I’m still tired and still trying to catch up on everything. Racing some cross country this weekend at Williams Lake. Not sure why I signed up for a race thats 4 hours away, but ah well. It’s xc racing and it’ll be a blast!

Great spot, be great if you could share details of how you use training data. National cycle week coming up, I teach so it will be busy, should get a few blogs up too. Happy riding!

Williams Lake XC race will be worth the drive, great course with a lot of tech…enjoy The Cave!
Unfortunately Adirondack region Empire State Games 75mile qualifier road race is Saturday, so I’ll be too toast to give Williams Lake any valid attempt Sunday, but good luck to you there.
By the way, in terms of making the drive to the eastern side of the state worthwhile, you do realize Phish is playing Saratoga both Sat & Sun nights.

Terry, bummer you won’t be there. As of the moment only 2 dudes signed up? I want to race and all, but 4 hours of driving……hmm, especially on Fathers Day.

Don’t worry about only two Pros reg’d so far for Williams Lake, dudes around here in eastern NY don’t pre-reg usually. There will definitely be a good field. I know Mike Mooradian’s making the trip down from Saratoga, and certainly Christian Favata wil be doing it too (his shop’s putting on the race). Probably a bunch of New England and NJ guys too, as neither the Root66 nor the Hudson-2-Highland Series have races this weekend. Hope you indeed make the drive and check it out, great course!

P.S. Made the Adirondack region’s team today for this year’s Empire State Games out in Buffalo.

    Terry,
decided to bail on the race. Got a late start, far driver and Father’s day & all. Just rode at home and gave me some time to hang out with my son, far better than getting home at 9pm. Though I did miss a good race. Congrats on ESG!! Will be fun and good luck!
