That was Duncan Douglas (last years and this years eventual winner) that I passed on the descent. Mark was manning the moto; he's got more experience on that than most of us on bikes combined. Would have been fun to be there, Quabbin Road Race was fine but after 65miles in the sun and heat it gets tough keeping focus and caring about the 1.5mile uphill sprint to the finish when there's still a field of 50 all rolling into it together. Looking forward to some other Finger Lakes races later in the season, cheers...
