Back to the grind
Tonight special; was a dish of 4 minute intervals x3 for 2 sets. Quite yummy. Leg’s were solid but not perfect. I think doing these on a light 3-4% grade and I would be killing them. However, as I’m not in colorado anymore, the rolling farm country in Upstate NY will suffice

The first 4 were pretty good, other than an odd corner or stop sign causing the drop in power. The last 2, I was just in the wrong spot, I know I was fading slightly, but there was far too much steep up/steep down to do these the way the should have been done. Though I’m a glutton for punishment and a stubborn bastard and didn’t feel like turning around or searching out a flat road. Just hit me with the misery and let me get it done with. At least the sun was shining…
I’ve decided to skip my racing plans for this weekend and instead log a nice big weekend of training down in Naples. Haven’t decided yet if it’ll be road or mtb. Will let the weather choose, but I’d really love to take the Superfly up and over some big hills and roll into the Express Mart covered in mud and devour 4,000 calories and move onto another round….
